History
A Father Forever has reached out to the impoverished communities of South Los Angeles as well as neighboring communities. We invite fathers to bring their family to participate in our various events.
In March of each year, fathers and their children participate in our Annual "Father-Child" Golf Tournament. We encourage fathers to engage in not only the tournament play but discuss life with their children. 2022 will be the15th year A Father Forever provided great memories and fun for the entire family.
In August, A Father Forever travels to Newport Beach to learn the nuances of kayaking, surfboarding and swimming. Great fun for the entire family. The majority of children have never kayaked before. A Father Forever provides them with this opportunity of a lifetime. In 2022, this will be the 12th year in the beautiful waters.
In keeping with our community spirit, A Father Forever partners with the Red Cross and conducts Blood Drives. We gathered over 25 pints of blood for the RedCross.
The week prior to Fathers Day, A Father Forever selects an "Everyday" father that works hard, cares and protects his family. He willingly accepts fatherhood and the mundane responsibility of being A Father Forever and is honored as "Father Of The Year!"
November of each year, A Father Forever partners with another organization and employs fathers and their children to volunteer to help feed and serve the hungry! Children are taught to understand the value of gratefulness and to appreciate the life they live.
A Father Forever travels to Children's Hospital in Los Angeles to deliver gifts to the children. A Father Forever partners with organizations as well.
