WHAT IS A FATHER ?

Over twenty-five years ago, founder William Denson recognized the first seeds of a vision that would later become the not for profit organization, "A Father Forever." The seeds of the vision on fire two and a half decades ago heralded a call for change that resonated loudly within his spirit.  In January 1995, the vision evolved into A Father Forever.  In December 2003, the Los Angeles, California based organization became a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and began its journey of hope, promise and action.  Dedicated to educating, motivating, and inspiring men of all ages to join him in standing up to be productive and responsible fathers and father figures.

Casualties in the war on fatherhood, children en masse are succumbing daily to lives without hope, facing futures being systematically extinguished by the specters of ignorance and fear.  Willingly, they hand their destiny over to substance abuse, mindless violence, and inevitable incarceration—far too many submitting to vanquished potential, utter failure, and finally, premature death.  These outcomes are not necessarily predicated on ethnicity, economic abundance or lack thereof, but without a doubt they possess the power to impact each and every individual on planet Earth if they are allowed to continue their present course, unhindered and unchecked. 

The children are the future.  As custodians of this priceless resource, we are tasked with their care.  It is up to each of us to foster within them a sound mind, a strong spirit, an optimistic nature, and to ground them in the beliefs we hold dear.  "Making A Difference...One Father At A Time."
